Trap Placement Requirement Battle Goes On

Greg Morton of Wildlife Pest Management has continued tirelessly to fight for CNWCOA with regard to trap placement requirements. The latest submittal to the California Fish & Game Commission (available to CNWCOA members upon request) requests that the commission adopt an amendment to the existing 150 yard rule that would exempt nuisance wildlife trappers from having to obtain written permission from anyone other than the affected landowner prior to setting traps.

Once again this submittal represents common sense responsible efforts on our association's behalf to fine tune existing laws in order to allow us to do our job and resolve human/animal conflicts with the least amount of impact both environmentally and socially. Hopefully the Commission will see the validity in this request and adopt our amendment.
